On Wednesday, May 16, the stage band of the Canadian Forces Air Command Band and on Thursday, May 17, 2007, the Air Command Concert Band performed to standing-room only audiences at the May Wilson Theatre in the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre. Those who were lucky to be in attendance were amazed and thoroughly entertained by the skill and musicianship of the performers. The Air Command Band has promised to return to the festival in the future.

Moose Jaw Conexus Credit Union manager and former festival participant, Glen Stephenson, presents a Conexus cheque of $2000 to Moose Jaw Kinsmen Band and Choral Festival chairman, Sharon Penner. The 59th annual festival will be held May 13-15, 2009 with 81 bands and choirs entered from three provinces
